Hello,
we are using C++Builder 13.1. Sometimes the 'Compile Messages' window disappears (no longer on top of the IDE window) and it does not come to front on TwineCompile > "Open Normal Message Pane".
To solve the problem for the current session we minimize and then restore the IDE. Now the window is visible. Now we dock and then undock the window to get the normal behavior.
The problem seems to be present since C++Builder 12.
The problem does not occur in every session.
Did anyone observe the same behavior?
With best regards
Hans

Re: 'Compile Messages' window disappears
You can use the IDE's Tabs menu to bring the message window back to the front. It'll be listed near the bottom of the menu.
Alternatively, dock the window somewhere, then save the IDE desktop to make the dock position permanent.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
In previous C++Builder versions I had indeed used your second proposal. But later I preferred the floating window.
Would it be possible to make the window appear on the Windows task bar (if not docked)? Maybe as an option?
