Different linker settings for different Builder versions?

Post by hansw »

Hello,

I have twine compile installed for C++Builder XE and XE3. I would like to use unilink as standard linker in XE and the default ilink in XE3. It seems twine compile stores just one linker setting for all IDEs.

Is there a way to have different default linkers for different IDEs?

If it's currently not possible it would be nice to have an update for twine compile that makes it possible.

A related tweak: Sometimes I would like to turn off the alternative linker. Currently I have to specify the full path to the default linker in the settings to do that. So I usually disable twine compile to get the default linker because it's just one click.
It would be nice to have some kind of check boxlike "Use alternative linker" which can be easily turned on and off. The settings for the alternative linker could be preserved even if the check box is deselected.

Thanks in advance for an answer,

regards

Thanks for these recommendations. We'll definitely consider them for the next version of TwineCompile.
